Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

This is heights, for a performance enthusiast Stunner itself is not worth the money. Now, Hero Moto simply copies Stunner & charges 2k more for it irony is that this is going to sell more, simply because Hero Moto has more touch points (sales outlets) compared to Honda.

Take the bike from Honda, change the stickers and price it higher!! I wonder how Hero will promote this bike. At least Xtreme, Hunk, Achiever had different looks than Unicorn...

for the price you only get looks ,nothing more.so likewise stunner this is going to be market dud soon.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
        #overkill is underrated.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Its nothing new for Hero. Think about it guys: Why wouldn't they charge more? After all, its business and not a charity.

People resist change. Many of them who owned a Hero Honda from the 80s won't go elsewhere, even if they have to pay Rs. 3000 extra, or Honda is gone, or whatever. And the company is reaping this fact. Despite Hero and Honda's divorce, sales are so strong that they can sell anything.

And you may hate Hero's management or the Munjal's, but you have to appreciate their market performance... They know how to sell bikes! Its a fact.

No doubt, Hero Moto knows how to sell products, but we must note that still they are selling bikes which are essentially rebadged 100cc Honda bikes. Once they come up with their own products would like to see how successful they are in the market. Even now, they are not really making any impact in 125cc+ segment.

              spot on...
they know how to run the business + customer satisfaction and availability of spares are also their key points...

Its not Hero Moto, but peoples fault to buy same thing at a costlier price.
Maybe most of them are stupid.

Honda sells their bikes without any accessories, one needs to buy them as accessories. Front and back number plates, side stand, Saree guard, crash guard, etc, you have to buy them as accessories. The prices above mentioned in Honda Website are without accessories. These accessories cost you more than 1500 rupees, which makes both Ignitor and Stunner in the more or less same price range. Also, Ignitor has digital console.

If you see specifications, there seems to be some difference in the tuning of the engine. Stunner makes max torque at 6500 rpm and Ignitor makes peak torque at 5000 rpm. Hope 5000 rpm is not a printing mistake.

Collaboration in business runs on contracts. You can't just brake it like that. The previous contract between Hero and Honda is valid till 2014. And don't worry much about Hero's new engines; they will come when they are due. They will get Honda engines as long as the contract exists. Why would Hero deny a Honda engine, when they can get one?

There is no kick-starter in current model of Stunner.
