Stunner is almost extinct species in market. It would be a brave move by Hero to come up with bikes.

Still, they would sell atleast more than what Honda sells.

somehow this bike looks more smarter then stunner to me. Also max torque comes early at just 5000 rpms... meaning this bike will be having better low end grunt then stunner.

^^ I hope the Stunner Carb still comes with a kick starter, The one without the kicker might be the FI.

There are two version; one is FI and the other is Carb. Both FI and Carb versions come without kick-stater.

Older carb version came with kick-start. The newer version employs MF battery and Honda removed kick-starter.

I will be very amused (in fact, laugh) at someone who buys this bike by paying a "premium" of 2000 over the exactly same bike Stunner of Honda!!

In honda you need to charge extra for basic accessories like saree guard , front and back number plates , etc which would cost around 1.6k . which is almost the same as ignitor

Read my post on first page. Stunner's price is without accessories such as front and back number plates, side stand, saree guard, crash guard, etc. Ignitor's price is including all. This makes the price of both bikes more or less similar. Also, Stunner has analog console and Ignitor has digital console.

Saree Gaurd option!!! I thought, every bike has to have a saree gaurd as per regulation!

Ok, but is it mandatory that you have to buy them from dealer, you can get them much cheaper outside! Honda is pretty clever, they saw Stunner running out of steam and allowed Hero to copy it. Now a days, Stunner is really finding it difficult with P135LS, Yamaha SZ coming in same price range. But, Hero with it's better reach & customer loyalty can surely do better than Honda, even if not exactly setting sales chart on fire!

Why is the Ignitor more expensive than the Achiever ?

People resist change. Many of them who owned a Hero Honda from the 80s won't go elsewhere, even if they have to pay Rs. 3000 extra, or Honda is gone, or whatever. And the company is reaping this fact. Despite Hero and Honda's divorce, sales are so strong that they can sell anything.

And you may hate Hero's management or the Munjal's, but you have to appreciate their market performance... They know how to sell bikes! Its a fact.
Hero has proved over years about their product's strength (reliability, quality, fuel efficiency, re-sale value etc etc) that's why they sell, it's not just about brand, it's product as well.

Whatever you say applies when there are different products.
And not same products with different STICKERS.

And Hero got success due to Honda so I guess Honda is way better than Hero and still charges less.
                                :) :D
