@Samarth: Why are you sad? Isn't it supposed to be a good news that people are actually going ahead and buying such an expensive piece of machinery? All the more reasons for more manufacturer to jump in the band-wagon!

Recession or no recession; people who have 10-13 lakhs to spend on these machines don't really care!

^ I was sad, because I thought I knew this industry very well..

But, My Pride just broke down... Anyways, yeah it's a good news, just a bit un-believeable news.

Hehe.. hope you learnt a lesson. Even journalists with all their contacts would NOT utter something as preposterous as 'I know this industry very well'!

Anyway, don't stop giving us all the titbits you hear from your sources

Where did you get that number from? I don't really see that many official Suzuki's in Bombay at least.

I don't think so. The 750 is in essence smaller in capacity than that stated in the illogical 800cc and above government ruling.

So.......

@ the slayer: yeah sure, will keep you informed/ entertained.

@ Bladerunner: You saw the link? It's said by the company's spokesperson.

Quote:
Suzuki has sold 23 units of Hayabusa and 28 units of Intruder in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai, he added.
Now, this also seems strange. Intruder Sales > Hayabusa Sales. Strange ...

Some additional info:-->
Quote:
Other player like Yamaha have sold over 107 units of the R1 and the MTO1 combined from their launch in late 2007, while Precision Motors has sold over 50 units of Ducati's range of bikes.

Sometime back when I went to the Suzuki showroom in Bombay, they said that they had only got one order for an Intruder from Raigad. I'll check again when I go there in a few days.
