In that case, it will be another bone to pick with Yamaha. Because they would have imported the R1s they are currently holding at old exchange rates. If they do this, it will be nothing but sheer profiteering.Originally posted by SunnyAlso the price difference is because of the falling rupee. i heard that even the R1 will have its price raised now (if Yamaha sells the 09 and not 07 models in the current year!)."Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Robert Schuller

Immediate on hard cash payment, you mean? Same day??
YAMAHA should take some cues from this because their FZ-16 is not available off the shelf..

Haha i know they have been launched today. Actually the news of the bike launch was not all out. The people who had got invitation to the launch knew about itOriginally posted by Sunny View Post^Dude. With due respect to your sources and your site, the bikes have been launched TODAY.
The Hayabusa does not match up to the R1 is what i feel. Suzuki needs to make a new BUSA

Did you get any specifics on how the servicing infrastructure is to be setup/has been setup? (Besides the 48 hour promise of bringing the parts in) Are they going to follow a similar structure as Yamaha is doing for their CBU program?"Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Robert Schuller
