Thanks! - that is a pretty cool suggestion, but as soon as I hit the initial periodic service intervals (which will be pretty soon), I would have no choice but to take it to Chennai for servicing. And I will have to ride at 55kmph as it will be in its run-in period - it will take forever to reach Chennai, not to mention costs incurred in doing this ...
I guess I will be a good boy and wait for it to formally launch in Bangalore! I have an overseas trip coming up next month at work, so I will probably buy a Yoshi muffler beforehand and fit it as soon as I buy my bike!

I don't know but even if the booking has not started in Kolkata it should start very soon maybe in 2-3days.
I'm not sure why you want to book it from Pune.Firstly it doesn't sound logical, next how will you transport the bike? What about registration and all?

@B2L: I don't want no laddus. All I want is the honor of an exclusive photo-shoot one early morning, after you get the mean green machine.

And yes, lest I forget, CONGRATULATIONS for booking the bike, for which, I have seen you being frustrated, happy, sad, and everything else in between, for months now. I am really happy for you. The wait, I am sure, has been really-really worth it.
MOD Sahab, what can I say... you have heard it all for quite some time now, finally its happening. Just wait till I get the bike and Photoshoot - where ever you say and whenever you say...

@All Ninja buyers: I was very excited about buying this bike as soon as its launched so was finding out stuff on a few Ninja forums, here is my contribution:
1. Please try to stick to ExtraPremium or 91 octane, though the vehicle can take normal petrol also in case of emergency.
2. Run-in period is as follows:
1st 500 miles (~750kms.) Keep below 4K RPM.
Next 500 miles keep below 6K RPM.
This amounts to about 1500kms.in all.

P.S. Please tell me what speeds it was doing in top gear at the above mentioned RPMS!
