Anyway, DOT5 being silicon based, is absolutely incompatible with the DOT3/4/5.1. Moving on, in theory, all glycol based fluids are compatible since they are part of the DOT specifications. That simply means that the same equipment can use EITHER 3/4 or 5.1. It does not mean that they should be mixed and used AT THE SAME TIME. As i said earlier, since various brands have different chemical compositions, it is not a good idea to mix fluid types. For example, expensive, high-performance race application DOT3 fluid would be much better than generic DOT4. So there are vast differences between these seemingly 'compatible' fluids.
Anyways, not to get too OT, i've noticed a huge difference in performance when i changed the red DOT3 brake fluid in my RTR FI to tvs-girling DOT4 and so i would wholeheartedly recommend all new NINJA owners to flush and change their brake fluid to a good quality DOT4 as soon as they get the bike. And please stay away from kbx DOT4. It's as bad (or worse) as their DOT3.Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

- 10 Ninjas have already been booked in Pune
- PBK are not taking anymore bookings till the next lot of Ninjas arrive
- People in Pune will NOT be getting deliveries soon bcoz the bikes have still not been passed by Pune RTO due to Elections due on 13th Oct.
- Still no news of Finance options fm BAF, but most likely it would be Rs 70 K Downpayment and rest would be financed, still no news regarding the interest rate for the finance that would be provided .
Moral of the story: People like me waiting for buying the Ninja have to wait for atleast 2-3 months
Waiting for it for 2-3 months sounds like disgusting. Irritating to the core to think that to pay up the money for something, you have to be in an infinite queue.

I will also have a look in the PBK CP showroom next week in Delhi.
Speaks volumes about Bajaj management the way they have handled this launch. I hope the same is not shown in the after sales service (I am afraid it will be so).
