        • hmm
i think if the bike is successful
it will be b'coz its of ninja family
and if the bike sales fail
it will be b'coz bajaj is d backbone of d bike
let us c if ninja is a stronger brand or bajaj is a weaker(dominating) factor
The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

              • I have booked my Ninja

                Gentlemen,

I went to Pune PBK today and booked mine .

Message for Neo88 - The finance options are available and they are in the tune of the following :

20-40% down payment followed by installments for 24 to 36 months. There are a number of permutations and combinations and the PBK guy told that if you call Pune PBK tomorrow, they will give you details on the finance options

                    Thanks a lot brother!

Some might think I am nuts when I say I have booked the black. Green looked very good to me but a little gimmicky and for younger crowd. I am over 30 and hence I thought of opting for black.

He told me I might get delivery in 1.5 months or more. When I asked him as to what would be the most pessmistic estimate, he said - maximum 3 months. He also told me since I have opted for black, I might get it marginally earlier than others. Lets see how it goes. Fingers crossed.

When I asked him about Bangalore, the guy said that Bangalore has no probiking setup yet and it will take another 1.5 months for a setup to happen there and the things will proceed after as much time.

I am hoping you get to book your bike ASAP

                        • This may be out of context but I was flipping through the pages of 'Bike' magazine in PBK showroom and I read that Yamaha R6 will be soon launched in India with a price tag of 3.65 lakhs or so. (I wonder if that is feasible to launch it in that price).

No, black is a a great color too, just more subtle than the trademark green! I will have a look at the bikes next week, and who knows, I might like the black better!. But right now, looking at pictures, I like the green personally!

Thanks a lot for the info! Then it means end of November, uh? Then just in time for my Birthday in the first week of December Lousy that I have to wait for such a long time, but I guess I'll have to grin and bear it! I might be in Oz around that time, so I'll look to pick up some after market parts which Sunny suggested in his review today!

Question for anyone who knows: Does putting an aftermarket clip-on (not the entire exhaust) void the warranty of the Ninja 250 in India?

No, doesn't seem feasible. This looks like the 1.85 lakh speculation for the Ninja 250R ! Even if it does, I won't be buying it as the Ninja 250 will be a more comfortable and practical bike than the R6. Unless, the bike is a 2010 FZ6R, then that changes things...
