We have the 2010 one. 2009 = chrome exhaust. 2010 = black matte finished exhaust. There r some other minor changes like the seat colour etc.

This is the way it works there. Until they get the bike that they are supposed to deliver to you, there is never a conclusive and concrete answer. The moment the lot that contains your bike arrives, they will suddenly clear the air.

Good for you man. Moreover, good that Khivraj, which is known for providing no satisfactory service, will not sell the bike. If you book the bike in first week of December, you can hope for it to arrive latest by first week of Jan if Bajaj handles it all smoothly.

I hope the the bookings open before the 7th of December since I will be out of town from 8th to 19th. It will be great if I get my bike in December 3rd week or January 1st week, that way I can still catch the riding season!

If you are out of town that time, you can probably authorise someone else to book it for you. Not the best idea but doable. This is because once bookings reach a number, they start giving you time frames like 4 months and more which is not very pleasing for the ears/mind.

Thanks for the tip, Bandhav also suggested I do that in case I am not in town. Let's see...

I want this bike so badly, I never thought this would distract me so much

I share the sentiment and I am highly excited about the bike from before the day I booked it and excitement has been consistent since then.

Hope to see your pictures next weekend then! And I hope to meet up with Ninjette owners once I get my bike. I have already planned my break-in and subsequent road-trips:

1) 1st service break-in ride: Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore - 700km and then some in the city to reach 1000kms.
2) 2nd service break-in ride: Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore again!!
3) After my rpm restrictions are over, it is going to be Bangalore-Pune-Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi and back! This can only happen if I get my bike before the first half of January so that the weather can allow me to ride such a long trip.
