It isnt surprising that you have to wait for 5 months if you make a booking in Pune. You are right when you say that they wrongly estimated the requirement in Pune before the bookings had begun. Hence, you have to make the booking and forget about it for a while as you cannot wait for it patiently for 5 long months!

saw the bike today. asked the PBK person to start the bike, and blipped the throttle a little. the bike at idle makes the power felt.

A few gripes i had, more to do with the assembly here, Minor nicks and scratches were the screws and nuts were.

Also the cover of the rear tail light has an alarming gap between the seat end and the clear plastic, a potential hazard for rain water to enter.

The clocks look really boring, a big Tacho wouldve been much appreciated.

No high pass finger lever, you have to keep flicking the lowbeam/high beam switch.

The seating and ergonomics were spot on. No gripes at all.

Now i need a loan for this bike, the PBK showroom in faridabad said nothing about loans available for the ninja, is it so??

btw booking to delivery period is 125 days for the green, and 45 days for the black. Anyone wanting his bike earlier can book here.

It is possible to get loan for this bike for sure. May be they (showroom guys) are either ill informed or are discouraging the loan indirectly.

^^ i know, they said something like 13.5 % interest, and 7,555 EMI for a loan of 2 lakhs for 3 years!!! works out to 3,55,000!!!!

I hope they figure it out soon. This slack attitude by bajaj would spoil the image. The dude at the showroom was sizing me up as if i am a bhikari, i mean given i dress that way... it was when he saw the key in my hand, and an AGV helmet in my hand, he realised i meant business. That too after i called and checked with him from Gurgaon.

Then when he started telling me features, and i matched him tech spec and feature for feature, he knew to shut up.. though then he gave in and even let me sit on it, start it, etc.

I am waiting desperately to know the loan process.. lets see.. fingers crossed...

I see that all the gripes are before actually riding the bike. Once you start riding, you forget about everything else.

^^ i have ridden a old 250, i dont have gripes with the bike with regards to the ride and the performance. That is something i know ill be happy with. Just nitpicking, but yes, the gaps in the build did stick out.
