@animeher - would be great if we know how long the ride would be. there are sufficient places to see / go to. Some Options I can think of:

1) Shortest duration - to and fro via manali, only K-top and Pangong Tso near Leh
2) Medium duration - onward thru manali and return via Srinagar / Jammu + Pangong, K-Top, Nubra Valley
3) long duration - throw in Spiti valley as well - go via shimla, reckong peo, nako, kaza and end up on the other side of rohtang pass + Pangong, Tso-Kar, Tso - Moriri, Nubra and K-top, return via srinagar.

Fix up the number of days, the details can be worked out . As a thumb rule, around 400 km / day on good roads and 150-200 km /day on bad roads should be pretty relaxed.

Having a 16 day plan for LEH this June, How good would it be to include Spiti along with this? Any pointers / suggestions / day-wise itinerary will be of a great help

Very tough but not impossible. The bike will take a lot of beating. Try to add 2-3 buffer days if possible. Btw if you have missed then I'm also riding this June to the places mentioned in your post.

Hey good that you are also riding to Leh this year.. Will try to go along, else meet somewhere in Himalayas for a Coffee

Anyway, as you know the itinerary for now is:

June 5: Chennai - Delhi (Flight) ; Delhi - Chandigarh by Bike

June 6: Chandigarh - Manali

June 7: Manali - Sarchu

June 8: Sarchu - Leh

June 9: Leh

June 10: Leh - Kardungla - Nubra

June 11: Nubra - Wari La - Pangong

June 12: Pangong Tso - Marsimik La - Pangang Tso - Spangmik - Pangang Tso

June 13: Pangang Tso - Leh - In & Around Leh

June 14 : Leh - Drass

June 15: Drass - Srinagar - Gulmarg

June 16: Gulmarg - Wagah - Amritsar

June 17: Amritsar - Delhi

June 18: Buffer Day

June 19: Buffer Day

June 20: Buffer Day in Delhi - Evening Flight to Chennai

We have atleast 4 - 5 buffer days in between and Optional Places like Wagah which will be skipped in case of any issues.. Also, We are even thinking of Skipping Kargil / Srinagar / Wagah if Spiti is very much doable skipping those 3 places..

Anyway, we still have time, for now our main intention is LEH, Kardung La & Marsimik la - If we have time, We will come down via Srinagar, Worst case we will take a flight in Leh and Send the bikes by a truck!

Do PM Me your itinerary, we will work on a plan to ride together!

Okay! Would take that advice! But Isnt the parade only by evening & what could be the best time to visit Wagah? As per our plan we would only be reaching Amritsar by 5 30 PM or so!

One of the parade happens in the evening (Not sure about the timings as of now). Don't know if there are any other timings for the parade or not.

Edit: Rachit posted the evening timing of the parade.

The parade happens usually just about half an hour before sundown! Getting there by 4.30 is the safest option.

I know coz I missed it last year!
