    Getting Lehed in June 2010

    I'm planning a Leh trip again this June.
    The Schedule is tentatively in the first 3 weeks of June.
    Hyderabad to Delhi in AP Express ( Along with Bikes) & then Delhi to Delhi On bike.
    Looking for some sponsors too as of now.
    Will be updating about them as well shortly.
    This I'm planning as a Guided tour.
    Please update about UR plans if any so that we all can do it together.

        Last time I went in July.
        But In June U can get the snow capped mountains.
        Also I'm planning to get some Sponsors.
        Put UR tentative dates.
        If Its feasible I'll try to change it bhai!!

            @JitenMistry - I think you will be pushing yourself on the ride.and you will be missing out on Pangong Tso, Tso Mori and Khardhung la, marsimik la

                Looking at your plan, am really stunned to find the most popular destinations missing. The purpose of every biker to do Leh is be to the Highest Motorable Road (officially claimed): Khardung La. I dont see Khardung La & Pangang Tso in your trip. Please dont afford to miss that. Another thing is your dates. The dates which you have planned, you will hardly see any snow at that time. Maximum of your journey will be done through bad water crossing. May-June is the best time AFAIK to be there.
                Delhi - Shimla - Manali, I would rather recommend doing Delhi-Chandigarh-Manali. You can do it fast with saving some kms.
                Please get the plan checked by more experience people around that place, they can really revise it well..

                      We have [Myself and Ganesh] have only 14-Aug-10 to 24-Aug-10 [13 Days] holiday approved and we have to manage within those days.

                        @Jiten: Pongnagu?? Where is that? Either my memory has stopped serving me right, or there is no such place.

                        It can be Pang, but that is not 260 but ~300 kms from manali.

                          I am interested in joining a group going for Leh. I will be alone and intend to take my ninja on the ride. I would prefer shorter journey. Dates are flexible.
