The point of this thread is to build up a database of ride routes and people who are skilled and willing to lead tours along these routes. This is important if xBhp has to start looking out for corporate support for organising such rides. Posting details here will lead to unnecessary discussion over the information provided, something that is not in congruence with the purpose of this thread.

So please, as Sunny has reiterated above and I had already prominently noted in the thread-starter post

Please PM your proposal/s to Old Fox, Sunny and Sunilg.

Thumbs up Resource persons.

Hats off to xBhp for taking another initiative to bring out the best from amongst the members. A database of such members would surely go a long way in helping tourers and explorers whenever they venture out on any such ride.

By the way, i am of the opinion that along with the information garnered through the proposed application form, it would be better if you can collect the contact details as well, including cellphone number, email address and residential address. That way, whenever need arise, the xBhp can contact any given person in a faster & easier way.

Wishing You All Great Success in every endeavour that you undertake.

With regards,

Dragon

All the best to this initiative, lets hope that we have something concrete soon

P.S: i wanted to nominate myself, but then i would always be there to help in planning....road maps, hotel stays, to decide places of Interest.

Once we are through with the initial screening phase, all these details will be collected because obviously we cannot rely on communication through emails if and when a trip is being planned.

cheers

@ Sunilg - You are absolutely right. Email is not a reliable medium for such programmes. And yes, collecting the details after screening the applicants would be a very good idea. And i would like to suggest that even if the applications are submitted as PMs, the final list may please be made public, as there might be some riders who want to undertake a trip to an unventured area and would like to have some kind of support, in terms of information or logistics etc, which they can have easy access to.

And Thanks a lot, Sunilg for your clarification.

With regards,

Dragon
