i would suggest breaks in between.....
have some snacks....drinks...rest ur bike .....
and u r ready to go in 10 minutes

other than those really useful tips from bikefreak , u can also try dual backrest for both rider and pillion. it sure looks ugly but it is very comfy and also go for those huge bucket seats (modified) rather than elctra's seats.... coz electra seats in long distances will make ur butt sore.

Definitely. Im quite happy in dhabas, where they have old wooden benches. Nothing like lying down on them, for five-ten minutes. They do more good than a sofa, or a padded seat!

I suggest you to check with handle positions.
I have observed a major change in back pains by changing the original handle bars.
