Default Accidents in India

*** MODS - Did not know where to post. Please move / merge to the appropriate topic. ***

DREAMS CRASHED

A young Software engineer who brought his first bike with his first salary rammed into a tree. He was not wearing helmet nor carrying his license. It is ironic that we have money to spend on bikes. But no money to buy a helmet and other safety gear.

Saddening to see the bike!!! She is devastated....

I never ever move even a km without a bike... I urge all fellow bikers to atleast wear a helmet....

People laugh at me when I got out wearing a helmet and a knuckled Gloves mocking at me if I am a SBK racer... I hardly pay them any heed.... coz at the end I know I am gonna be the one who gets protected because of those gears.

May god help him.
But frankly, I dont think we need a separate thread for this. Everyday we hear\read such news. This thread will be full of posts, either cursing the guy or sharing similar experiences.

He sustained severe head injuries and died on the way to hospital. His girl friend escaped with minor injuries.

My only intention of posting this picture is that atleast by seeing these pictures, we can learn to wear helmets, wear safety gear, and ride safetly.

Damn!!!! If you ram into a tree without a helmet then theres no way one can survive These pics can only make us make ourselves a better rider, a safe rider.

Dont know why people dont wear lids even though they may have it. Sad ending indeed. Bike is not much damaged but the force with which he might have hit the tree must have been enough to take his life.

When i go for coachings- my friend mock at me and say i take 5 mins to atleast wear and remove the knucled gloves and helmet.
They may laugh but i feel safe, i know if am wearing the riding gear then i have maximised my chances of returning safely to my parents who believed in me and bought me a bike at a young age.
