Hey guys,
What bike will do for me ? My budget is around Rs 60k (can be stretched to fit RTR in), my height is 5' 11'' And I'll not use the bike on highways, just for city use, still i want a funky bike! Requirements - Good looks Comfort for pillion is must Decent Mileage (not a big issue though, should be decent, say above 45) Less maintenance Long Term Reliability As far as I know or have read, bajaj or tvs bikes have reliability issue, their engines are not that refined..ur take on this? So some options hitting my mind are- Honda CB Twister - Boring Bajaj 135 LS - Rear suspension doesn't work well, plus not-so-good looks. (Final options) Apache RTR 160 HH Hunk Suggest some other options too. Last edited by yelloos; 03-13-2010 at 02:43 PM. Reason: update |

@yellos : I wont recommend CB twister as you have a decent budget.
I would recommend Pulsar 135LS. It has got a good and refined engine and its termed as Sports Commuter. Will fit your preferences too.

APACHE's pick up is really superb than other 150 segment bikes, it delivers much power. Comfortable handling with excellent braking. Looks sporty with a powerful engine. Dont go with my notions, let other members give their opinion to. Get a test ride of all the shortlisted bikes and then go for whatever you feel is the best for you. Regarding Bajaj LS's reliability, you know its a common man bike with spare parts readily available and servicing being easy. P.S: I myself would be going for RTR later this year.
