Default Selection between Bullet Thunderbird or Electra

I like to join the legacy of Bullet and chkd 2 models (didnt took test drive yet) Thunderbird & 5s (5s is because Classic 350 is not available due booking is stopped upto december 10 reasoing overbooking).

I need advice from experts about which model is perfect as lookswise & 2 of my friends (whot dont have bullet) TB is good but 2-3 mechanics of bulllets suggested to go for 5s.

on other side i need lower sitting arrangement as bajaj avenger & silencer of Classic 350 also small tyres of classic one.

so is it possible to have Classics's350 silencer & tyres fitted with Thunderbird

Suggest me

buddy i dont know about the technicalities but the classic is just a classic.though the thunderbird has been touted as the best Enfield so far,but there is a charm to the 350.
go for it if you have the patience !

EDIT : Please dont buy a bike without test riding it ! mechanics of every bike differ.they are like women :P

i meant physical mechanics of the bik i.e. how they differ. But a bike is not something u change often.anyway, choose what u feel is right for you

buddy i a going through the same delimma...have test ridden classic 500 and t bird.i know manypeople will suggest cl500 in terms of sheer performance.but i love the riding posture of t bird.she feels like a big bike while riding, the riding posture is very comfortable.on the other hand classic is feels much smaller and faster....waiting period is atlest 5 mnths for classic and for t bird is a week or so...looks of classic also dnt appeal to me had it been a cl500 engine on a t bird, would have bought it with eyes closed...cl500 sounds better than tbird...with all this confusion how to make a decision.by the way even std is now out with the UCE engine.
guys please give some advice

P.S. one thing i noticed on cl500 is that the seat kinda seems wobbly,i kept moving back and forth while speeding and breaking.showroom guy said its caz of the pick up...???is that so.

@msncom3, check out these threads, they might be useful.

Confused between Classic 350 and thunderbird
TBTS vs. Electra vs. second hand vs... well Bullets.
Classic 350 or Electra

They definitely helped in my decision.
Spl thanks to pal YAMAHATROOPER!

Yesterday again visited SR Moters Jhandewalan, dealer of RE & took test ride of TB. very confirmatble in sitting position but only prob., is not habitual of higher adjusted handlebar.

got to know that Classic 500 comes with 18 inches tyres (both) & can be changed in TB also but not by dealer I have to go to open market for chaning tyres, Change of silencer of TB with Classic tilted is not possible as per mechanic at dealer but another mechanic in Karol bagh confirmed to do so.

so i m just confirming abut silencer & cost involved & thn gona took desicion on TB with 18 inches both tyres, classic tilted silencer & handle bar of Bajaj Avenger of Electra.

any suggestions from others
