Hi, can someone throw some light on the discover 150 please?
My colleague is contemplating between the Twister/new YBR125. Budget is his main constraint. 55k max. The segment is something he doesnt worry about.
could someone tell me how much the Discover 150 costs and Mileage figures. He is looking for somehting which would give him 55-60kmpl.

Plus, the Suzuki Slingshot is not of his liking because of the company's presence and lack of service in Calicut.

thank you guys.. i just booked sz-x (Red color) now...!! i took the test drive..engine is so smooth & the looks attracted me very much ! i will be happy if i get mileage atleast 50..Yamaha claims 62 km..

there is no kick start.. we need to spend 2k for that.. but they said we can rely on self start.... will post the pics once i get the bike!!!

Hmmm... A typical indian thinking. You want a 150cc bike, fuel efficiency, Good top speed, reliability, Disc brakes etc etc without spending much money & that too from a brand like yamaha. Before blaming & crying over yamaha just see the price tag of the SZ. Its price is equivalent to that of the gladiator.

Anyways yamaha has made it clear that the gladiator is for fun riding & performance. So the goodies like discs are given to it. While the SZ-X is strictly a commuter which has been made by keeping in mind the riding conditions of a normal city traffic where we dont go to very high speeds. As i have already mentioned the bike has got a larger drum which is efficient in bringing the bike to a halt.
