About your situation, If you can afford go for C250R.....waiting period now a days very less or nil depending upon the color/variant you choose. About maintaining & repairs or availability of spares you can follow the CBR's ownership thread to gather a complete knowledge before buying. Don't know much about P220's waiting period.....but others may suggest to wait 2012 version of pulsar range. Last edited by Neel08; 02-06-2012 at 01:13 PM. |

i don't think p220 has any waiting period.see you are upgrading from a 125 cc to a 250 cc.isn't that a big leap?anyway if your daily commuting of 30 kms involves city riding most of the time i won't suggest a 250cc[read fuel-guzzler].p220 is overall a good package but as p200 ns has just arrived with more bell and whistles ,i would suggest you to stay away from 220.now you can consider suzuki gs 150 r.great package, recently face-lifted,returns good mileage within city riding.and for the touring part once in a while you have the 6 th gear and rock solid stability at high speed.

The CBR250 is more of an highway or tourer. It suits perfectly too if you live in small satellite towns and travel around a lot of km. I have personally experienced riding the bike in traffic, and riding gets uncofy as you cant change from 1st gear in city traffic jams. CBR250 behaves well after 2nd gear! Its the same with R15, you will get shoulder and wrist/palm pain by the time you get back home riding for an hour in traffic jam! |
