Hey Deep,

Somebody else here also said what I had wanted to say, go with your heart. It's the journey that matters. The two bikes in question are a class apart, & although there's no comparison between the two in terms of performance, you can definately have a comparison between the feeling you get when you ride one of these bikes.

Just go with the one which would give you more joy, & I can say this for you because you have always felt great fun in "sorting out thingies" in your Bullet & not just when riding it.

And hey on a personal note, mundeya tu jachda to bult to hi hai

Take care.

Regards,
Prakhar

It is only the ZMA and the CBZ Xtreme (I was told) that suffer.

This is a 'fact' that you will get a bike that misfires again....but it is also a fact that our collective efforts will banish 'misfiring' from both our lives thereafter. Amen!!
ChaCha i think that this is just the bike missfire that we are talking about.

Still, if I have to tell u which to go for....I'll say Karizma anytime, anyday over any RE. There was a time when I was crazy about owning a bullet, and this led me to own Electra 5S. Though I don't regret my decision but yes, I will never buy one again! I have my reasons for it.

You can definitely go for Karizma, its a great bike having an extremely capable engine among Indian bikes. It will do 100kph all day without a sweat which no bullet would do
i do understand what you mean.

and yeah sir what you said is true.
but the indian biker still has very little choices for a perfect touring machine, and this 60 year old water pump is still one option.
But see thr 60 year old one is a real comfy i am sure you agree with me.

Chacha i have allready been with the jap tech for last 15 bit more years its just that i need some thing that comes fast and reliable and KMPL should be good i have the fast and reliable in my RX but kmpl it some times drop down to less then 20. a friend used to get more than that on a BMW F650 when his brother used to go bathinda chandigarh.

I know man i look good on a bullet

=================================

Any ways i am done with this all.

thanks all for suggesting me.

After talking to my dad and myself. i have decided to go for both the bikes. the bullet and the ZMA.

But as i am married man now. i have to set priorities i have to think with my Mind and act with my heart so here comes the ZMA. so this is going to be the first one and if every thing goes fine then by the end of this year it is going to be Bullet standard that is gooing to be dressed up as a cafe boy.(For sure)

further plans are not to be disclosed asof now i hope just things fall in place, i set my ducks in a line ready to fly.

Good choice there, DD. I like your solution to the conundrum! Getting both bikes is just swell!

Desi, I would like to congratulate you on deciding to buy a Karizma. as for the bullet, well, nothing can replace it, it has a place of its own.

Default For Touring: RE Bullet CL350 or HH ZMA-R!!

Hai Xbhpians. I have a plan to upgrade my ride within two months. I want my next bike with good touring capabilities because my current ride(fz-s) disappoints me during the three digit cruising speeds. I like to do touring with my new bike atleast twice per month.
My choices are:
# Bullet classic 350 or karizma-r

Actually i have booked the classic 350 two months before with lot of confusion. Reason for this is, i like the classic look very much. But as of yet i came to know some niggles in maintenance of the bulls. Being new to enter the bullets i am worrying while hearing some problems like oil leak etc.. So this makes me to consider the 2011 zma-r as one more choice and how about the availability of spares of karizma in bangalore because my hometown is hosur which is near to bangalore.

So guys which one is trouble free tourer for doing 90-100 kmph cruising without any problems. I expect 35-40 kmpl in highways.please help me ..

Bullet maintenance is on the higher side if you are ok with it u can go the classic one,but its topspeed is limited to 120kmph and crusing on 100kmph is bit insane i think so.My friends who owns bull say that the safest cruising speed is 80 kmph.
Otherwise the high speed tourers are karizma-r and p220(in 1 lakh range). Both are good machines.Choose wisely
