    Topic Approved.

Frankly, I cannot associate you with anything other than either an RX or a Bull. But since you have given us to choose, I would personally love to see you get a ZMA, and complete Leh this year, on it!

thanks a lot Aryan, yes even some times i feel that i have contained my self to the bullet and rx. but i need to get out of the container now. i think that i should buy both the bikes get a bullet and a ZMA. the only thing that i dont see in the ZMA is the sitting stance that they have. i kinda dont feel comfy with it does any one has some pics of bikes been modified on the ZMA frame and engine?

DD: go in for the ZMA.....and then lets get together to solve its 'mis-firing' issue at anywhere above 10,000ft. The altitude issue apart, its the tourer.

mutual sympathy there....Yes it does misfire and I spent 2 full days in Solang trying to rectify it during my last ride to Spiti (was 2-up with my wife) but the problem persists. Never had it though with all other bikes I've ridden to high altitude. Did Leh on my KB100 Delta way back - no issues, none with the old-model CBZ, neither with Pulsar 180 DSTi V1. It is only the ZMA and the CBZ Xtreme (I was told) that suffer.

This is a 'fact' that you will get a bike that misfires again....but it is also a fact that our collective efforts will banish 'misfiring' from both our lives thereafter. Amen!!

so, there is the jinx - listen to the heart or listen to the thought (brains)...

I support what your heart says - go with the Bull.

Desideep: I rode ZMA for nearly 5 years, and now for the last little over 2 years, I am riding a Bullet Electra 5S. So I have lots of experience with these bikes as I have done more than lac kms between these two. However, I haven't toured yet!

Still, if I have to tell u which to go for....I'll say Karizma anytime, anyday over any RE. There was a time when I was crazy about owning a bullet, and this led me to own Electra 5S. Though I don't regret my decision but yes, I will never buy one again! I have my reasons for it.

You can definitely go for Karizma, its a great bike having an extremely capable engine among Indian bikes. It will do 100kph all day without a sweat which no bullet would do

I know its very tough to choose from RE and ZMA, even though ZMA will be an ideal choice but I guess you would miss the RE Thump

I am surprised at your thoughts, you havent ridden around much then.
Heck even a Std 350 with a 18 teet front sprocket does 100 all day effortlessly, but dont talk of acceleration-lol

500,and the LB 500 are amazing and quite fast and can keep up or may be go ahead of a Zma or a 220,these are torque monsters(relatively to what we have in india),and a pillion or a few kgs of luggage, does not make them slower or show any signs of drop in performance.

It will never be as effortless as a zma, period.

I have ridden enough! I have been to NH 8 numerous times to Jaipur on both my ZMA and my bullet and with and without pillion, again, on both the bikes! And no, I am not talking about acceleration.

You are right about the torque factor of the 500s though.

And even though these two motorcycles offer different kind riding style completely and for this simple reason its not fair to compare them, but the guy is confused between these bikes

If he has to buy a bullet, I will personally suggest him the LB500 or the Tbird TBTS, because any other 350 bull will be a disappointment.

try that on a LB 500,yes there are vibes, but engine is as relaxed as a zma's
anyways these are as different as chalk and cheese.
                          to each his own.

btw as of now I own both a Zma and a RE 350

a Bull 350 with a 18 teeth sprocket is quite relaxed at 100 but then in acceleration even a splendor can give it a run for its money
