Our Partner

Ever since its inception in 2002, xBhp has always been about the motorcycling community. Nearly two decades later, this ever-growing community has grown leaps and bounds. All this while, we have put the biker above the bike and that is what laid the foundation for our 'i, The Biker' philosophy. It is more than a mere term or a phrase. It is an emotion, a movement. To that end, we have come up with a program to bring out inspirational stories of bikers all around India. Aptly named "i, The Biker", this series intends to highlight unheard stories from bikers like you and have them heard through the various platforms of xBhp; print magazine, social media, and website.

Noble Causes, Noble Ride: Elizabeth Riba & Rakhe Agam Dui

Sometimes there are some messages that need to be sent across and the usual means simply do not work. What do you do? You take up an epic ride to personally deliver that message to everyone. Elizabeth Riba and Rakhe Agam Dui, two female riders from Arunachal Pradesh did just that. They rode 7000 km across 8 states in 33 days to propagate the message of One India, raise awareness about the Northeastern states in other parts of India, and tell people to raise their voices against racism.

Be it the lack of education or simply ignorance, racism is something that is one of the bigger evils in our society. The message that Elizabeth and Rakhe wanted to propagate was that the people from northeast are Indians too. Their journey started from Arunachal Pradesh. Considering it is their first ride, 33 days and 7,000 km is a lot. They covered a large chunk of North India. The states they covered included Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

During their trip, they came across a lot of rural areas and schools where a lot of people did not know about northeast India. Elizabeth and Rakhe took it upon themselves to educate them about northeastern India. In addition to that, they also educated people about women’s empowerment and maintaining a peaceful brotherhood among different states. Their message also revolved around awareness of drug abuse too and how they destroy lives and why one should avoid them.

We are glad to have flagged these two brave ladies off from Delhi and wished them the best for this epic ride with a noble cause. During our rendezvous with them, the message they wanted to share was that of peace; that we are all Indians and we should not discriminate against each other and maintain a peaceful brotherhood.
