Since '02 xBhp is different things to different people. From a close knit national community of bikers to India's only motorcycling lifestyle magazine and a place to make like-minded biker friends. Join us
Ever since its inception in 2002, xBhp has always been about the motorcycling community. Nearly two decades later, this ever-growing community has grown leaps and bounds. All this while, we have put the biker above the bike and that is what laid the foundation for our 'i, The Biker' philosophy. It is more than a mere term or a phrase. It is an emotion, a movement. To that end, we have come up with a program to bring out inspirational stories of bikers all around India. Aptly named "i, The Biker", this series intends to highlight unheard stories from bikers like you and have them heard through the various platforms of xBhp; print magazine, social media, and website.

Bikes‘Too many factors are involved in deciding your future; from people to opinions to social media. One must think really long and hard about where they want to be in the future as people will come and go. The only person who decides for you is you.’

This is what Joshua John believes in. Based out of Delhi, Joshua loves motorcycles and his goal over the last couple of decades has been to bring more people of the city into motorcycling, getting them up to ride. Apart from that, he is an avid artist as well- a painter no less!

His love for motorcycling began at a young age. As a kid, he saw bikers in all forms. From the teachers who had bikes to people overlanding and coming to India. As he moved to college, he saw more and more bikers which fueled his passion for motorcycling.

Not long after his foray into motorcycling, he got involved with DBBR- Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run and they organize small breakfast rides. In addition to that, Joshua also leads motorcycle tours for people from India and abroad. He has led many international clients across India, and abroad as well.
Joshua worked in advertising as well before he took up painting. He was also ordained as a pastor and worked at a local church. That is where he spent most of his energy, time, and creativity from 2000 to all the way around 2015-2016.

All of the experience Joshua has in life and in motorcycling has led him to become the person he is. Motorcycling does not have a set definition for him as he enjoys every kind of ride; from small rides like a breakfast run to weekend rides to long trips. There is no one way to motorcycling as every person has their own definition of it. And that is the best part of motorcycling.

Being an artist, an ordained pastor, and a motorcyclist; Joshua has seen and learned a lot in life and he continues to do so as he gets to know more and more people and brings more and more people into motorcycling.

The one message that he has for everyone is this: “Love motorcycling and not motorcycles as an object. Whatever bike you have regardless of the class, type or capacity, maximise it and enjoy it instead of wishing for something better because that is an endless pursuit. There’s always something better out there but what you have is the best. So just keep moving forward with what you have.”
