I went there and enquired abt the same..since it was a genuine FF station i got the price discounted to overall 13k which was superb and perfect...I mean if i can spend 10,11k then why not 13k...so went ahead and booked it...will be getting the delivery in 10 days which is going to make me go mad and bonkers and god knows what...

    Dude,

Did you even open the above link? It says clearly:
    MRP: INR 14,590
Advertised Retail Price including 5% VAT and excluding Applicable Octroi. The guy who says 16.5k is LOOTING you. I'm sure Octroi would not be more than 5%-7%, which is max 1k more. There is no way it increases as much. Then you can be creative and get it billed for a non-octroi address, no? and you always get discount on the "advertised retail price"

and for god's sake - you don't need a bloody disc man. Better decent V brakes than a cheap disc because its only 2k more! Please don't!!

I went to one of the best stores in my city and said, I want to test your best cycles- Roadeo and Octane is all they let me test. They had nothing else premium.

Otherwise yes, I know the Firefox brand very well, but I was sad that Firefox was unavailable and there's no Firefox dealer here.
Then don't buy there, simple. You don't need any rocket science supplies for a good cycle. The service anyone can do - even you.

Buy it from Jaipur or Delhi. You should buy a cycle only if it fits you and is in your size, else you will be like this: BikesZone - Cycling • View topic - B'Twin Sport 1 Roadbike-For Re-Sale-Unused absolutely

Yes i did open the link and thats what I said..14,600 thats 10rs more for which I also stated odd..
The entire thing happening is iam getting it from a Sub Dealer (who is ready to give me same factory warranty and everything like a normal dealer, even the free servicing stuff) but the twitch is the cost, iam getting the same twin disc for 13,000 and not 14,590. Iam saving like 1.5k. Discs i dont need em agreed but its ok for me to ride with two of em.... Yes that 16.5k guy is looting me which is a FIREFOX Station dealer, thats why iam getting it from the sub dealer for 13k...just tell me is that a wise decision, another thing the 13k amount came because they are providing me some moonsoon sale of 10%. They will be giving me all the bill and warranty stuff even with manuals and some CD....Just tell me is it ok to purchase it from a SUB DEALER with same Factory Benefits for a discounted price....the reason iam asking is because iam new to it...
BTW i have joined CYCLIST.IN, the same question has been asked there but there is no reply yet.

Sub dealer is okay, but boss, you should be buying without disc. Else at that price band, you are dangerously close to buying a Schwinn Frontier expert. way better brand, better components as well. (acera IIRC)

@OP and anyone who wants to buy a good quality indian bike below 10k-stay away from Hero cycles..esp the ones wit dual suspension, hardtails diskbrakes etc..those cycles are some of the crappiest ever made..the humble indian roadster(milkmans cycle) is a hundred times better than those..n a thousand times more capable. If u can strech ur budget a lil,go for hybrid bikes by shwinn or trek..below the sub 10k category theres only one decent bike-Hercules ACT110s..n dont be fooled by cheap goodies like 21 gears, disk brakes etc offered by d cheap cycles.trust me theyr good for nothin.if ur budget is below 5k,go for a good ol roadster with ur eyes closed.
