swell looking cycle there! congrats on a great buy, especially love the color combo. But personally I don't prefer the curved handlebar design, rather prefer the straight handle bars on my LA spectrum. The curved design seemed a little kiddish if I may say, so right buy for your kid especially at that price!

          @ Ken,

I find something out of place here, I notice that there seems to be a provision for a drum brake in front of the suspension? And the bike is a dual disc as i can see. Explain yourself man!

I noticed the same thing when I was picking it up. It probably initially was designed to take a conventional brake. And then the disc was introduced in later versions.

It is time you did it. Get yourself a ride and let us go pedalling down the road...

hi ken, hope the bicycle is doing fine and u both guyz are enjoying it.
"the provision for drum break" is actually a provision for puting up a mudguard.

Thanks Big Brother Agnidoot for the clarification. Yes we are thoroughly enjoying the bike. We actually fight for possession.

Thanks a lot again for the help provided.

P.S: I still have that bicyle with me, properly maintained in mint condition.

Good to see that people maintain their older steeds as well over long periods of time.

Damn , even my bike doesnt have 2 disks

I think i've ridden this bike and its very light and pulling wheelies is very easy .
