Default Re: need help in buying new bicycle
I haven't rode a MTB having a suspension lock, so don't know if that really helps in speed or comfort.
Personally I feel lesser the components, the better from maintenance perspective. So I will go with Madrock.

End of the day, a bicycle is an investment you are making, so go with the heart and pick the one which will make you happy.

    Good luck!

Thank you all for your valuable advice. bought montra backbeat 27.5 and have already completed 500km. I asked the TnT guy about servicing schedule to which he said it must be done after 3000km (is it for real).
Kindly let me know when should I service my bike.

Maintaining tire pressure and cleaning chain/gears etc can be self serviced.
You must do these two frequently, at least twice per month if you use the bike daily.

Depending on your usage, you can give the bike to servicing to fix any issues/sounds/alignment etc.

Guys, can you help me choose a bicycle. It seems there are no choices for a 6ft tall rider. Please suggest a good bicycle for less than 13000rs. I had an eye for the rockrider 300 but they've suddenly discontinued it. It need not be MTB, any bicycle with at least 7speed gear.
          I'm totally lost.
          Thank you.

I agree, there are not much options within 13k for someone who's 6ft. If you can stretch your budget to 19k, then I'll suggest Triban 100 from Btwin. I'm 6"3 and I have the Triban100 road bike model, Size L, and the bike perfectly fits my frame. I've done the fit for my height and I don't have any soreness or pain in my groin area or back. My sit bones align perfectly with the contour of the seat. So I highly recommend you to take a look at the Triban series.

            Cheers!

Yes, it should be available. Make sure to test ride the Size L of Triban100 before you decide. Happy Cycling!

                Cheers!

Thank-you!😊 Will update once I've tried it. Extending budget is doubtful, but let's see what happens.
