Hi Guys,

I just got myself a Suncross Storm. Can you guys pls educate me on the working of the gears. The Right Side has numbers i think from 1 to 5 and the left says Hi and Low.

I am clueless here. Pl help.

i am sure that by now you must have figured it out how to use the gears. normally what happens is that you just have to get a combination to fit your way of riding. the bigger the sproket at the front and the smaller the sproket at rear means the harder the padeling if slow but it is best if you are fast. same goes the other wayi have 3 gears in the crank and i use the 2nd one and at rear i have 7 out of which i use the 5th one for normal riding. but when doing above 20 KMPH i use the 3 and the 7th combination. till date have hit a max of 42KMPH. but i would recomend dont stress your self just go easy

Thanks dude...i am taking it really easy right now. How was this such a simple thing when we were kids? Just get onto your bike and cycle around for hours. I could not handle riding for more than 15 minutes. Crazy!!!

Hahaha i know its funny it was amazing then cause we used to go school cycling cause at that time we had the enthu and no other options. so look at the poor chap in your area of the security guard of the building i am sure he has a simple cycle no gears or any thing but he would still go a long way than what you can on your cycle.

its just that we are following a life style.

Like normally i give a example. when a thing becomes a life style

your MRF stock tyres would have done you fine for around 30-40 K Kms before you joined the XBHP. but now they are not grippy they feel bumpy and all that Sh!t. so i hope you understand what i mean.

Surprised to find a thread for a Bicycle, though quite old. Well, let me bump up this thread a bit. I have recently bought Suncross Terrain with Dual Disc Brakes, Telescopic front shockers and Shimano Gears. Courtesy, our own Roger brother (Puneet Mehta).
And am super happy with the purchase & been riding since last Friday. On Friday the 6th Sep, I rode from Jhandewalan to C R Park which is almost 18 kms and then been riding daily for 5-6 kms. roger: Can't just thank you enough.
Will post few pics & experience later.
