[QUOTE=payeng;828739]I'll summerize it as, the Discover 125ST has the values of the Discover brand and the Pulsar 135LS has Pulsar genes intact. Choice is yours.

MG is 5 ft 11 and his legs still had enough room for a grip on the tank.

I'm very looking forward to this bike i'm 6 ft. 1 inch would it be any problem for this bike? What type of FE i can expect ? In what colours this bike is available? and which one is killer one?

      Nice review.
So atlast,a perfect commuter is here..
One more question, Are the tires "Tubeless" ??
If they are, then this would be a bike, which satisfies all the "Wants" and "Needs" in the catagory..
And what 'more' can we expect from an upgraded D150??

Amazing review Payeng dude!! I liked the presentation of the perspective of the bike very much (and that horse ride shot was kinda hillarious )

But at the same time, even though I like the bike as an overall package, I really think that introducing mono-shock in a motorcycle of this segment and specially the Discover 125 is a bit of an overkill. I'm saying this because, the Discover 125 has always been a work horse, where people prefer twin rear suspension as they not only do the job they are supposed to, but also act as struts to strap in additional luggage (a common mentality of the majority janta going for motorcycles of this genre, janta who prefer lower capacity, high mileage and no fairing motorcycles). Removing the twin shock setup and going for the mono shock, might prove to be a deterrent.

-- just my thought, nothing wrong with the motorcycle though.

Finally took a peek at the New Discover 125ST at Wakadewadi, Pune showroom.

            3 Colours
            1. Black with blue decals.
            2. Black with red decals.
            3. Blood red with red decals.

            OTR Pune price is Rs.60,570.
Deliveries have commenced. Pay cash, take bike next day with permanent no.

The riding position is 100% commuter. Same as the other 100cc commuters, back perpendicular to the ground, knees at right angles, no rearset/forward lean business. Everything about the bike yells COMMUTER. As comfy as my old Caliber which never gave me any pains anywhere.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Bajaj has always been attracting customers with its superb styling and a large number of features in low cost! I wonder how they managed to keep the cost low even while using 4 valves and the monoshock! Anyway I just hope this doesn't turn out to be the typical Bajaj bike which starts crying with noise after 1 year!
                Kudos to the styling!

Could you compare it to the Unicorn in feel (of riding position) & size (of bike) ? Is it identical or slightly smaller ?

Nice small review with good pics.
i have observed that bike looks good in photos, but in reality it looks absolutely like any 125 CC commuter bike. frankly speaking, i think it could have been styled in a better way.

quite surprisingly there is no waiting period in pune whereas in some parts of the country it has not even reached showrooms.

                      monoshock is a welcome feature.

The bike seems to be good except the rear. The rear part looks ugly. Even the current discover rear feels much better.

Bajaj claims that the users can drive long distances on this bike. Can MG or anyone who rode this bike confirm this point? How does the engine behave after long drives, does it maintain well?

I mean does it have good endurance?
