why does the bajaj discover always gets a disc cover with it??????????
According to the service engineer, it helps in regulating airflow around the disc cooling it faster. This helps in the brake pads lasting longer too because they operate in cooler conditions. All this helps in reducing long term maintenance of the bike.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

here is a pic which came in todays paper without the multiple mud guards

      looks better..

but i saw a pic of the bike photo shopped in the news section which looked better...retain the two mud guards on the tyre on replace the mud guard with the number plate with a p200ns/p135ls style number plate holder

heres the link to that pic....

            <div class='xflo_forum_img'> <a href="http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/"><img src='images/catimages/xflo/news.png'/></a> </div> <div class='xflo_forum_text'> Motorcycle news from around the world, worth a discussion! </div>

it does look different but the original setup will help a lot in monsoons though visually unappealing...

nope..no ownership thread...seems no xbhpian has bought that bike...the "DISCOVER" tag might be acting as a hindrance :P
