Oh yeah, those MRFs on Duke 200 have almost more a V shape than O. A bit too much for my taste, you can almost feel as if you have more grip when cornering hard than when cornering lightly. If I look at the tires of both Ninja 300 and 650 I can see they have more "normally" rounded profile (more in sense it's more like O than V) than MRFs on Duke 200.

And yes, just because of that MRFs on D200 don't look so beefy as one would guess... But I personally prefer it much more than flat profile tires of FZ or CBR 250, such profile can't be good for cornering.

I hope Metzelers on D390 are more "round" than MRFs on D200.

It happened to me few times while riding my D200 that guys riding next to me were waving at me, trying to tell me that my tire is flat because the profile looks low.

I spoke with the showroom guy today. Duke 390 is expected in the range of 2.4L on the road. Hand guards will be included as a part of standard equipment. Test ride bike should ideally be available by 25th. Waiting period is 90 days for now. Bookings are on!

Am not an expert in tyres but if it's slicks that are mainly meant for dry weather and smooth tarmac, why does the profile have to be 60 when the width is a good 150mm?

I wish i had one DeVille... did a mistake showing couple of 200 reviews to my wife (she passed a bad feedback to my parents as well). now she is not letting me to buy one. my heart says 390, but with she not allowing me to go for 200, its touch time for me to convince her for 390.

in any case, i'm not ready to exchange black alloys with orange.. :-P

Like the Street Triple and Daytona. Didn't mean to imply offerings in the same class as the 390 :P
I don't know if we have a thread on that but they have been saying bookings will open in Q3 on their facebook thread, so can't be more than a couple of months or so away. I really don't want more intermediate steps before i get my first properly fast bike.
