Fully faired Inazuma breaks cover in Japan - source, Zigwheels

Suzuki GSR250F breaks cover| ZigWheels.com

This solves the front-end design problem to some extent - but more importantly, it addresses the issue of wind-blast, likely to occur during long rides. Would be great if Suzuki brings this version to India.

Inazuma 0-100 timings by a regular user - makes me think if the other auto publications weren't pulling up their socks?

Here's a video posted on YouTube, on the 0-100 acceleration runs on the Suzuki Inazuma. While, we agree these are only speedo readouts, it still shows sub-10 second capabilities. None of the Indian auto sites posted lesser than sub-11 seconds. Makes me wonder if there was a bias, towards not showcasing this bike in the proper light.

I'm no Suzuki fan-boy (in fact, I like the Honda CBR250R, for its all-rounded character) and I like bikes of all classes, from any manufacturer, if they're good. It seems queer though, that none of those folks were able to achieve sub-10 second runs. And the guy in the video, does it repeatedly.

It is a 248cc bike, so I was not expecting a 6 second time, but 9 seconds is not bad for such a heavy 250cc street bike. If the exhausts were combined into ...

What they do want, is a reliable, supremely comfortable, no-nonsense commu-tourer that can do the job, all day long, in the city or the highway - without shaking up their bones or stressing themselves out. And can take their better-halves as pillion, with supreme comfort. And doesn't pinch too much on their pockets.

However, the last statement might be a deal-breaker, with its on-road price of 2.46 Lac (Chennai). I think Suzuki needs to manufacture this in India & bring the price down by some bit, so that it makes terrific sense to the majority of the bikers out there - it is simply that good.
I would even have seriously considered the bike at that price if it were marketed at more showrooms. FWICT no other manufacturer worldwide is offering a similar capacity bike that ticks the same boxes as the Inazuma.
However, considering that Inazuma is not being sold at any showrooms except the metro ones that also sell superbikes, the ASS and spares availability is also going to be a major hassle for someone looking at this bike as a no-nonsense commu-tourer.

chiron - Spares shouldn't be a problem, as it was my concern as well. In fact, when I checked today with the SA, he says they've enough spares for this bike, as they seem to sell around 3 to 4 bikes every month.

BTW, the new Gixxers were available at the showroom & I took a TD of that as well. Sprightly little bike.

3 days back i got my Inazuma 250 (black Duckling), traveled 150KM till date.

seat & ride quality very good, gears are easy to find and operate, surprisingly clutch lever is very soft, strong pull and cornering abilities are limited but bikes feel stable if driven thoughtfully. top speed & performance) cannt comment (still in running in)

Very smooth bike, its no screamer hot lady to give you a hell of ride & excitement But a soft, reliable, stable and composed partner who handles everything coming in your way gracefully giving rider utmost comfort.

That is fine right - I mean dont all motorcycles come with focusing/directing screws behind the bulb assembly ?

I am on the lookout for a bike since ages (this is going to be my first bike). Budget is not really a constraint upto the 2.5L mark. I remember coming across the Inazuma sometime ago and thinking wow, this is waht i need, only to be put off by the price. Right now it looks like the next Fazer will be my ride, but with the price cut, the Inazuma has an outside chnace yet again. I'd really like to know if someone has had this motorcycle for any extended period of time - to see its long term reliability. Being an import I am concerned about the prices for spares should the bike be not very reliable...

I dont know that light focus can be changed by directing screw, thanks for the info bro,

If you want a reliable & comfortable bike with best ride quality and ride for hours & hours with out being shaken negligible, than this is bike to go, this is perfect Indian bike for Indian need all rounder doing whatever thrown at her office commute, grocery shopping (plenty of space), highway run and ride with your better half.

My previous R15 was very good bike i still love her(hope his new owner keeps her well). but still in terms of comfort R15 was bullock cart compared to Inazuma(am i exaggerating !!).

Posted a first ride impression but thinks still with modders to approve. However i had seen bike crossing 154KMPH on internet, will confirm for performance my self after running in completes.

Good to hear the comparisons
Also once you are done burning in, could you comment on the ability of the bike to sustain 110-120 . Most people seem to agree that it can but xBHPs own reviewer said it feels stressed and suggested 80-90 instead. To the best of my belief that sounds odd because even the Fazer with a 150cc engine is supposed to be able to do a constant 80-90.

I too plan to buy this bike and like touring on two wheels. Inazuma is a short geared bike and it hits 100kmph in 7.5K rpms. I have gone through many reviews and also my friend owns it. As far as i know, bike is relaxed at a speed of 90-100kmph and holding at 120 will make it a little stressed but its butter smooth engine wont give u any symptoms of harshness or vibes even at that revs(around 9K rpms). but engine sound also will become much audible over 100kmph makes a feeling of stressed. I wished it could have given with slightly longer sixth gear for highways...

I don't think it has a serious effect on the timings. Ok, take half a second. Still, well within 10.

Point is, I read somewhere that Suzuki's figures are 8.04 secs for the 100 kmph dash. May sound too optimistic, but you get it, right?
