P200 and R15 would be out of the question, as those are usually ridden HARD where I live, but the high level of comfort of my GS would be revealing to many other riders who may expect such refinement from bigger cc motorcycles running on 2 or more cylinders.

    As I mentioned before, Inazuma is a good idea for me in 2018, and I will try to find a good one without too many kilometers on it. Then I may keep the 250 for at least 3-4 years. Let's see how things go. But something I find a bit strange is how little is known about the 'zuma even around the world.

    True! The Zuma is a true gentleman's motorcycle. I love my commute on it, everyday. While the torque is 'sufficient' in the city, the bike is a bit heavy for a 250. That's because of its robust build. I'm sure it'll withstand abuse for years and if babied, should last a lifetime. Suzuki can actually plonk a 500 twin (with medium power and high torque), in the same chassis and sell a Zuma 500. It is that good. I do hope someone tries an engine transplant on this!

      Hi Raja, thank you for your quote! I know this should not be that important to every Inazuma owner, but, have you tried the 15T mod (I believe yourself) quoted earlier this year? I understand this should hardly make any difference if you cruise at 100 the whole time, but the idea behind a 250 over a 150cc bike, in my opinion, is going a faster at lower revs, with greater stability.

      Other than that, I agree with you that Inazuma is a pretty good commuter and a true gentleman's bike... I think someone from an Indian forum deemed it actually better overall than the new Dominar 400..! and a 500cc engine in there would make it just fabulous... probably 45 HP + monster torque would be good for a 500cc Zuma.

        No, not yet. Although, it is on the cards. I wanted to do that when I go in for the chain sprockets kit replacement.

          Thank you for your comments. I hope the investment on your Zuma is not coming too soon and, again, I appreciate your advice on Inazuma. I am still taking good care of my Gs150r so I do not need to upgrade to the 250, as planned, because of mechanical problems.

            If you are looking for a new bike and you like the GS150 and don't mind fairings then the GSX250 would be a good bet too. Same engine as the Inazuma but with some small but significant improvements like hazard lights and inverted lcd which is really good for when it is sunny.

            Regardless of trying to look like a sportsbike, it has a fairly upright seating position like the gixxer 150. The GW250 has been a huge improvement on my GS150 in all areas and is well worth the price in places that are not India

              I was not notified of your post, and since I am only a regular at the GS150r forum, I was not able to read it. Thanks a lot for your kind advice. I believe at this point Inazuma would be the safest bet for me after my current bike, GS. GSX250 here is too expensive, even more so than a CBR600 F4i in mint condition. Go figure.

              Thanks again, I hope you are still enjoying your Inazuma! And BTW, the new SV650 should certainly be a much sportier bike compared to VStrom.

                Guys wait till next year, Suzuki are coming out with a gsxr 250 single cylinder mill that will put out about 28bhp based on the existing gixxer 150 frame and engine, it will be 6 speed with a oil cooler and it will be priced a good 40-50k cheaper than the existing cbr 250 in the market, and it will be DOHC setup.
