If comfort is your priority then AV220, both have similair cruising speed.
      AV220 costs less too.

The illumination is not as bad as some people suggest!
            Nice review btw.

I want to know more about its top end torque, how good is it at overtaking at 90+ speeds ?

Yes if you're drag racing in the gully. These are different motorcycles with different characters. Beyond 100 kmph, FZ 25 is choked, but the Duke begins to shin then only. FZ has low end, Duke has high end. That's why reviewer says, it's upto your personal choice of riding.

By choked, you mean does it have difficulty to move between speeds 130 to 90 kmph

He means that engine doesn't like to be revved freely and also engine refinement decreases. Because it has 2 valve engine.

Ok, got it. I am assuming here it is a robust machine to ride at speeds above 100kmph, including the above facts.

You can checkout the gixxer 250 as well .It's better than fz in every aspect. BS4 discounts are going on.

                          Re: The Gentleman's Game!

I am seriously considering this machine:-
I have 30km daily city ride and every other weekend i am going out of the city.
Recently i did a successful trip to kutch on my cb trigger.
Is this the bike for me or are there other options ?
Thanks for any suggestions and input.

Can both these bikes do well in Ladakh terrain ?

Don't worry. They both are good motorcycles. You'll enjoy touring on 6 speed gearbox of gixxer . Whereas you'll love the soft suspension on the fz. Both have their own pro's and con's. Gixxer feels more refined than the fz . Wait for bs6 fz25 it has better
                              looks .

How would you compare the fz 25 braking with gixxer 250 ?
