      A Condolence Letter

      Dear Jay,

You dont know me nor do I. But after reading kolkatta thread, I have got some idea about you and your pals.

Dude I really am devastated by your accident news and the way it happened. Despite wearing a full masked helmet you succumbed to severe head injury. Regarding negligence of PWD authorities the more we say the less it is !! Death is something which can come anytime anywhere to anyone. We can easily lose life for no fault of ours.

My mom always keeps giving me examples of how bike riders lose their lives on highways (which I think to be safer than city roads) but I hardly take her seriously. But today I am having second thoughts. I am soon getting a car buddy and my mom has asked me to sell off my bike. First I had out rightly rejected that suggestion but now I am in dilemma. I know even cars are not safe but compared to bikes the fatalities are lesser.

I am also going mad on the fact that how can GOD do this to a person who was soon gonna be a father. Your wife and family has to suffer for entire life w/o any fault of theirs. Please ask this to the GOD whom we pray for our entire life. There is no compensation to your loss dude. At the end its your family who will suffer.

But I think your incident should not go in vain. We should all learn lessons from it and think about our families first before going on long and dangerous rides. We all should sue the PWD for their inept and messy work. Penalising them would bring justice to u and all other riders who have suffered so far. Its high time that we take these matters to higher authorities and follow them up till the job is done.

In the End I can only say that, May your family get the strength to cope with this huge tragedy esp your wife. We are all waiting for your rebirth in form of junior jay . I hope by the time lil jay starts riding the bike, roads in India would be much better and safe. And no1 in future meets the same fate as yours.

      Rest In Peace Bro !!

      Regards,
      Rohit Jain (Rony)

Kol folks, you should do something about the death trap yourself, atleast paint a patch to warn people. Expecting the govenrment to do something for "public service" is stupidity in India

I seriously have nothing to say ......... Coz i know my words wont be of any use to them . Its not going to bring him back. But we should do something about the indian government. And the road transport.
We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Very tragic, and unacceptable how can these guys not understand the value of someone's life and well till they don't why don't we take that extra care while on road, keeping in mind the shoddy work done by the authorities of this damn system!! RIP Jay and god give strength to the family to come to terms with this loss!

                            It's a terrible loss.
reading or listning about the sad demise of a fellow member or rider is always painful.
Can't even imagine as what the family and wife must be going through.
May god give them strength to go through this huge loss.
