Your (illegally) statement reminds me of that scene in MunnaBhai MBBS. "Agar Casualty ward ke baahar koi marr raha ho, to usse form bharna zaroori hai kya?"Originally posted by hellmet View PostI don't think you can have a critical patient on a motorcycle without having someone (illegally) sit behind the patient as the second pillion to hold the patient up on the mo-bike.

So much for legal procedures being followed in our country.
Theres nothing legal or illegal when saving a life, critical or non-critical

Its already in use in African countries, not just on motorcyles, but cycles too
As of today, Rural is where the money, market and the scope of improvement isOriginally posted by pulsater View Postmotorcyles are always a quick way to get from point A to B but making it a lifesaving machine requires a skilled (paramedic) rider. you cant just fit in a regular "somebody" on the bike and send him on a 100 call. though if you talking about more rural reach, you will loose the commercial interest of it.
If we all think only of commercial interests, rural india will remain rural forever
Good questionOriginally posted by hellmet View PostHmm.. nice. How much would you pay for this service, Nitin?

A demo was also given in 3 Idiots of an illegal patient transfer.Originally posted by Omega Man View PostYour (illegally) statement reminds me of that scene in MunnaBhai MBBS. "Agar Casualty ward ke baahar koi marr raha ho, to usse form bharna zaroori hai kya?"

there should be a proper and safe way of handling patients and not being impractical. it will be more dangerous than safe to transport an unconscious patient on the back of the bike. Africans might do it, no other country with bike paramedic does.Originally posted by Omega Man View PostYour (illegally) statement reminds me of that scene in MunnaBhai MBBS. Actually, the concept is of not a bike ambulance but a bike paramedic, where the doctor/nurse can reach to the patient for first hand care and not become a transport medium.
I couldn't come up with a good idea of doing anything like this in rural area. If you have something please share.Originally posted by Omega Man View PostAs of today, Rural is where the money, market and the scope of improvement is

Anyways, the main topic was on taxis and I still think a good business plan can work in India.www.motorcykle.in - The lighter side of motorcycling

I can work out the details if anybody at all shows interest. But it should be costing much lesser than the services of a car driver. Much lesser infact.
