the funny thing is... pick-ups are my favourite kind of 4 wheelers.
    Lambos n Koenigseggs included.

    i kid u not... i almost bought myself a Tata 207 in 2008...
will the intention of "doing it up"

the definition of a what a pick-up truck is wouldn't change because
someone thinks it's way to cool looking to be called "just a pick-up" truck.
which is what a few posts were implying.

Tata Motors labelled the Xenon a "Lifestyle 4 door pick-up truck" in their Official Press Release.
I don't think they were talking down about their own product.

Calling it an SUV/MUV just to garner a better response isn't exactly accurate.

    i'm sure i'd get a couple dozen replies if i called a V-Max a sports tourer
    or an RSV4 a cruiser.

the Dodge Ram, the Ford Bronco, the Chevy Silverado...
these are just a few jaw-droppingly-awesome looking pick-up trucks.

    pick-ups are awesome...
it might take a while for people in India's perception to change...
but let's wait for the trend to "pick up".

    well known fact:
Jeans were were used in workshops once.
but now we have per-ripped button-fly Levis.

so... a Lifestyle Pick-Up Truck it is then.
And I have Tata Motor's permission to call it that.

    PS: nice pics sunny.
PPS: the splendor looks like it's been put in the back of the xenon (looks like a scale model.)

ok now can we get back to discuss bikes now !!
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

but then that would be OT... coz this thread isn't about bikes.

Since this thread is about the Xenon... How big is it.. in terms of parking space.

Is it as easy (rather difficult) to park as any Indian SUV (different than SUVs)??

Once all this is sorted out... I will start dreaming (for the 1st time for a Cage) about it.

think Tata Sierra... but much longer... Tata Estate... but slightly longer.

                Tata Sierra wheelbase: 2400mm
                Tata Estate wheelbase: 2825mm

                Ford Endeavor wheelbase: 2860mm
                Xenon wheelbase: 3150mm

                it's long.

I think xBhp going to make a 4 wheeler periodic publication containing pictures and stories soon
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Oh yum, I'm getting all kindsa ideas to modify this beast.

1.A white Tata xenon with dark tints all over including the windshield,

                      2. a lid for the back, can be customized with a bed under it to make camping in the woods that much more easy.

                      3. since the truck sports a 4 door cabin it could do very well with a sun roof,

4.A nice Dvd player and a 6 speaker system to get that surround sound effect with two 1000 watt subs for that extra punch. And two seat mounted monitors to watch movies while on the go.

                      5. custom hoodscoop and a kn appollo cold air intake placed right under it for that extra whoosh,

                      6. 18 inch black alloys from o.z

7.Blue HID lights, Neons under the truck

8.chip tuning for more low end torque

9.the mid piping can be cut and welded to make the exhaust gases exit at a height, in case this bad boy wants to do some serious off-roading.

                      10. reverse camera's and sensors to help park this bigboy and a kick ass Air horn

And what we'll have is a unique, monster-stud without peers in India!
