As far as i know, everyone who has read the book has liked it, even though the movies are nothing compared to the books.

BTW, 7 movies have been released so far, not 5 :P

Personal opinions aside, harry potter stories are quite involving and full of 'blink n you miss' moments... don't compare transformers n harry potter....compare transformers n terminator salvation if you want!

I know that 7 movies are released. But I have so far watched 5 only.
I never felt anything like 'blink n you miss' moments. Anyways i am not comparing harry potter & transformers. I said i liked the transformers over harry potter.

I just felt it stupid that a grown old & powerful magician cant even kill a child who is not even half his age.

Anyways as i said it is my personal opinion, Just because i like 300 movie, can i oppress it on you to like it??

I was just saying that just because a person doesn't like it doesn't mean its for the kids only. Even i used to think like that. But when i came to know that the book had sold more copies than THE BIBLE, i became curious and read the book and i loved it. Might not be your case :P

NO! there were not any real dances by him. Most of them were done by hanging on a rope and other technical tid-bits. One can easily find them very unreal.

+1 to Harry Potter. Never Liked the series. Watching senseless magic in the whole film bores me; These are my personal opinions. I am not OFFENDING anyone's personal thinking about HP or any other movie. There books might be good but for me, reading book(Novels, stories,.. not higher secondary or graduation ones.) is a Lazy mans job.

One would like the Harry Potter series if he/she read the books. And anyways the crowd turnout proves the fan following. The way JK Rowling has written it you can see yourself right amoungst the characters in hogwarts. She didn't become the 2nd richest woman in UK just for writing some crap rght?

I am no big fan of the movie but I absolutely loved the books for the sole reason i.e the class of writing

Watched some interesting documentaries:

1) How to Kill a human

story was crap. you could always guess correctly what happens in the very next scene. Direction was good. The intro credits rocked

Deepika was stunning. watch the movie only if you like her :P She seems to have developed some acting skills though. Got her expressions right, unlike love aaj kal

If you liked that documentary then dont miss this one...its called "The Brdige"...every splash you see in this film are real people taking their own life
