the acer you mentioned above is the one probably available in shop i was talking about.

lenovo is good but i don't think it will be as cheap as an acer.

i will suggest you go for an i3 at 26,500.

checked those, they are more or less similar in configuration. avoid ASUS and samsung, rest all are fine.

compare the features of all of them in detail and decide. go back a few pages to one of my earlier posts and compare the processors used in all these models for performance.

have you thought about netbooks..? the ones with dual core atom processors..?

i will still strongly suggest you go for i3 processor, increase the budget a little bit.

one more thought came to mind, what about assembled laptops, like on lamington road mumbai...??
