    Yes, I did catch that particular episode over dinner table, a couple of days back but I didn't really find anything remotely funny about it! There are far more better things to do in life.

    Simply put "MTV Roadies", for me, is a total letdown! Period.

      the reason is the politics (Indians Love it), the Attitude (which Indians learn from the show) & *****es (India has in abundance)...
      ZMAs can be a reason fer a few as well...

      P.S.: Am an Indian as well, so plz dnt JUMP on me! Its just a way to tell things... lol!!! & obviously am not counting exceptionals, which are always there...

              I wonder...

              i wonder why they call it ROADIES...
              When everyone stays in plush 5 star hotels...
              Bikes are just means to take them from one 5 star hotel to another 4star or 5 star hotel...
              They can also use other bikes from HH... like PASSSSION.... and GLAMOURNING... and CD Deluxe...

              Infact if they use CD Deluxe... they can corelate to the show in better manner... Deluxe Hotel... Deluxe bike...

                  The program should be renamed ...to maybe....Mantrees. Its all about backstabbing, politics and cat fights. Oh and not to mentioned - RIGGED. They keep changing rules as per their convenience to keep or eliminate people. Anyone thought why they have exactly 3-3 boys on each team even when the teams were selected through a colored headband selection? It is exactly equal. Why not 4-2 or 5-1? And I don't think most of the girls can even ride on that show. I watch it to pass my time.....laughing .

                      This year, it's total fun. The male contestants who has participated in a show like this, deserved multiple hits on their "main point' . I loved their facial expressions at that time.
                      About the 'strange character' point, I feel contestants like Devorshi, Paulomi, Kirry can never be called 'Roadies'. After all this is not 'The great Indian laughter challenge'.
                      Completely agreed on the third point. Have you noticed the expression of Samrat when instead of collecting animal dung at Puskar animal fair, accidentally he picked up fresh human 'potty'?? Yuckkkkkk!!!!

                        No, this year also they are riding only with open face lids. No other riding gears.

                              I beg to give an analogy here
                              Just because a person who owns a bike isn't considered a "biker" similarly just because a TV show has bikes shown in it shouldn't be considered as a biking show.
                              I feel roadies isn't a biking show at all. It is just another reality show which has youngsters in it (which is why I think it is so famous).

                              But yeah you cannot deny the fact that it is kind of gateway to the glamour world and is one of good platforms for those who want to make their careers in that field.

                              If you want to watch a better show having bikes in it log onto NDTV Good Times where they show the actual bikers conquering Leh, Spiti, etc on their bullets (I think the name of the show is "The Roadtrip" or something like that).

                                Well Sumit, he never mentioned that its a Biking show....he said this show has popularized biking...!! There's a difference in both the statements..!!
