I call her neo... because every one said that she's so shiny and pretty in looks so gave her the name...

I call my SS125 'My Little Tourer'. I know it's not right to call a 125cc a 'Tourer' but my Gladiator has never let me down in several 250km rides(within 4-4.5 hr.s and with a pillion). I am happy with that.

In city - 50-52(mostly within 60-65kmph) as in Kolkata, it's very difficult to go beyond that due to traffic.
In highways - 54-55(within 60-65kmph). On several occasions, I did ride between 80-90 kmph for 30-40 minutes at a stretch. I got around 43-44 kmpl.

My previous Bike was R15 Blue it gave me the feeling of flying whenever I fly him ..errr drive him. named him Flying Duck. and there was one favorite movie 'The Mighty Ducks' so the name Flying Duck.

Now i currently own Black Inazuma and my wife does n't like its looks especially the headlight( though she likes the ride quality) and it also came from selling my previous Bike R15 which was duck therefore the name comes The "Black duckling". son of duck.. Hee hee

My first bike was Discover 135(v1). I named him as Stallion or Panchakalyani(tamil horse name).

My second bike is also Discover but in 150-F avatar. Now i named him as Phoenix. Because he came again to me in new avatar.

In 2011 i met with an accident which broke my right collar bone. Doc's advised to ride scooter for some time. So switched to Dio(102) from 2011-2014. Till now i did not name him & he is still with me.

My bike is Yezdi and I call him the Dinosaur! Actually it was one of my friend who named it. The look and sound of the bike without the mufflers is probably the reason he called it the Dinosaur!

                        I named my fazer Bruno!

Historically its a German name that holds meaning 'Monk' and 'Philosopher'. Whenever I feel down or in doubt in life, the ride on my fazer saves me... So the name is chosen...

I never really questioned why I ride,Because for me its as basic as breathing.

Yet to see a christened Duke 390, might as well kick it off :P

My white Duke 390 is called Icarus. Icarus, for the naive, was the son of Daedalus. Daedalus was the architect of the Labyrinth which held the bastard abomination of king Minos, the Minotaur. To ensure the labyrinth remains impregnable, in turn ensuring the monster remains trapped, the Labyrinth was constructed outside in. But halfway through Daedalus realized there is no way for him to leave the maze once its finished. So, he fashioned for his son, Icarus, wings made of feathers and wax. When the work was done, Icarus flew his father out from the maze.

My Icarus, is my way out. The mythical wings in my life. It is the closest I get to my childhood dream of being able to fly.

PS: I know what happens later on to Icarus. Even that holds significance somehow.

I have Discover 125ST and I call it greedy! Actually my friends kept this name as I am always greedy to ride whatever the time is. And for my companion I take my greedy with me.
There is another reason too that is this bike always stares at me greedily to take him out on to the roads. He always wants me to take him to unknown patches of road.
With no sigh feeling of riding a discover I feel very proud of this bike as I covered Ahmd-Udaipur-Nathdwara and return total 660kms non stop on him in less than 10hrs.

He is always greedy to go out.
