No one is really interested in astronomy from Bangalore i guess. Rossi's 'One is taking precedence over any and all celestial events
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

I am IN - let's ride to Sohna for the eclipse that day.

Can someone arrange the right viewing glasses?

Can someone post a detailed plan - stops at which location, and what timings?

            Cheers

Nice info from OldFox and Jonak. I Hope there will be an error in the 'complete Eclipse' trajectory, and it passes through Hyderabad.

              $10,000 lens

              Approx 5 lacs. I'd better prefer a 2nd hand R1.

                Last one in our lives

Of course there will be more solar eclipse, but a phenomenon like this is not going to occur again while any of are alive. So make sure you don't miss this.

@ Oldfox, thanks for bringing it up.

it was all cloudy here too, but we managed to get an hour break from office and ride till DND to get a better view.

and no photos, we just had a pin-hole camera (pretty useless in this low-light condition) and a few unexposed x-ray films.
