My dad was the one who wanted to get the biking spirit in me, he would keep on tellin me bout his days as a biker setting off for a far off destination in the middle of the night n stuff n this actually worked wonders on me n now not on my bike though but i usually take my car a set off on long drives or for some trips to mahabaleshwear or pune or somewhere with my friends, whereas for my mom and grandmom bikes are a strict no no but every single male soul in my whole family has been driving or has drivven bikes and has had a passion for them.

Heh yeah, and dad kinda keeps buggin me for wearing out the clutch too soon and getting the chain loosened..
                    Mom despises bikes.
Cure: Always wear a helmet, and if ya can afford them, wear leathers while stunting... it'll save a lot of road rash.

The real cure, buy your own bike with YOUR money. I got mine like that. Now I make full use of both my ears

Mom does get senti, but well, risk's the juice of life. Just a lil bit

My folks were very scared but gave in..mom still scared but now both have reconciled to the fact that they cant seperate me from the bike!! The amount of time I spend on my bike & things related to it is what bothers them most. They trust me with the car as also the bike...they know I respect rules & dont ride dangerously.
Abt stunting, though I have decided not to do anymore I did show my dad a wheelie after that Bajaj ad & when he refused to believe that it cud be done!! :-D...my girl didnt like bikes earlier & the nI converted her to liking bikes but she is always concerned cos some of her close friends have met with fatal accidents on bikes recently- but she also trusts me with the bike!! :-D
Anyway, biking will never go away...a part of the family!
With great power, comes great responsibility- to man, machine and especially to mother nature.
