Now i dont know if i should be posting here as i have nothing to write in my CV

Almost done with BTech,papers pending.Apart from BPOs,is there any other option where hard work and a brain is required ?
Something like Event Management,production houses hire i have heard.
And i want to shift to Mumbai..phew

@Anants: You've done engineering and you want to get into event management, production houses; basically the media? Why so, Anants? I believe you must try for much more 'orthodox' jobs like, well, IT, IT & IT!

at any time of the year, atleast half the budding engineers in our country wish that they hadn't chosen engineering as their discipline...and plus through the course of 4 years, everyone tells them that just being a grad won't get you anywhere...and after 4 years of engineering life, you just can't study anymore...all they(budding engnrs) want to do is just get out of the mess and look for something interesting and unique to do...probably thats the reason of anants_220's desire of shifting lines

When i was 18,i was too disillusioned by the good things in life,that i never paid attention to the fact that one day i gotta make a living for myself.
So dad said beta engineer ban jaa and i was like ok.

Numbers,wires,electical stuff goes over my head.Im sure a 12th pass would know more abt science than i do.Clearing papers is not such a task as most Btech people would know.

To ensure proper material requirement planning as per MRP and Market Unit demands.

Main Tasks

To suggest, support and facilitate for continual improvement in system and procedures.
To Implement and maintain processes in line with Management systems requirements.
To arrange on time material as per buffer policy.
To procure imported materials from approved vendor.
To rate the suppliers,compile the data and arrange for reviews as per vendor rating process.
To maintain the records updated related to process documentation.
To collect and forward the payment documents of vendors to finance.
To prepare cash flow / provision list for finance, if any.
To prepare & support Weekly/Monthly/Yearly MIS reports.
To work as per Ericsson Standards and culture to achieve the common goal of organization.

Technical Competence and Educational Qualification

Graduate in Engineering in Material Management from a premier institute of India with 2-3 yrs of experience in a process organization at a responsible position in Material Planning.
Should be familiar with modern production planning & forecasting tools.
Good knowledge of statistical tools
Experience in the use of computers & extensive knowledge of MS-office applications
Good knowledge of working on SAP Platform, PP & MM Modules etc,
Knowledge of local/international commercial rules & regulations.
