• Board Bringup, Bootrom, Bootloader

Preferable Skills:

• Device drivers
• Experience with multi-core processors is an added advantage
• Experience with ARM/PowerPC/MIPS is an added advantage
• Experience with high availability architectures is an added advantage

1. L3 - Design & Development Engineer

Experience: 5-16 years
Mandatory skills:

• Proficient in C/C++ and data structures
• IPv4/v6 routing, Layer 3 (IP) VPNs
• IPv4/v6 forwarding in network processors or ASICs
• Multi threaded environment in VxWorks/Linux/pSoS

Preferable Skills:

• Experience with multicast in L3/L2 is an added advantage
• Experience with multi-core processors is an added advantage
• Experience with high availability architectures is an added advantage

1. L2 - Design & Development Engineer

Experience: 5-16 years
Mandatory skills:

• Proficient in C/C++ and data structures
• Ethernet based Layer 2 VPNs, VPLS, PBB/Mac in Mac, VLAN switching, STP
• Multi threaded environment in VxWorks/Linux/pSoS

Preferable Skills:

• Experience with multi-core processors is an added advantage
• Experience with high availability architectures is an added advantage
• Experience with Broadcom devices is an added advantage.

1. QoS Design & Development Engineer

Experience: 5-16 years
Mandatory skills:

• Proficient in C/C++ and data structures
• QoS technologies in packet networks
• Must have implemented QoS (policing/shaping/scheduling) in network processors or ASICs.
• Must have architecture level knowledge of QoS designs in chassis based systems.

Preferable Skills:

• Experience with high availability architectures is an added advantage

Software QA/Test Position:

1. QA/Test Engineer

Experience: 3-14 Years
Carrier Ethernet Services:

• VPLS, VPWS (MEF-ELAN, ELINE)
• BGP-VPNs

Standards and protocols in the Carrier Ethernet Services context:

• L2 :

802.1q (VLAN), 802.1p, 802.1ad (QinQ), LAG/LACP
802.1d/w (STP/RSTP), 802.1s (MSTP), G.8032 (Ring Protection)
802.1ah (PBB)

• L3: OSPF/ISIS/BGP
• MPLS: LDP/RSVP-TE/FRR
• Multicast: IGMPv2/v3, PIM
• OAM: 802.3ah (EFM), 802.1ag (CFM), Y.1731
• Qos: srTCM, trTCM, Scheduling, Shaping, WRED

Good working knowledge of SNMPv2/v3
Experience in Test Automation using TCL or Perl, and Test tools such as Ixia, Spirent

Go check bikexadvicex.xin (remove all the x and go to the site), I heard some days back that they are offering part time jobs over there, shoot a mail to one of the authors or to the webiste itself, they will get back to you. . .
