Re: delhi half marathon ------ "2018"
Hello everyone
Since last week the delhi half marathon has been on my mind.
I am planning to run it this time.
Couldn't find any other recent thread so a call out for all the runners in xbhp who can share their experience/ training ideas and interest regarding the event.
P.s:-
I am cycling for longer distances nowdays, don't know how much it helps in training for a half marathon.
Cheers. You Start Your Life with a Full Pot of Luck and an Empty Pot of Experience, the Object is to Fill the Pot of Experience Before you Empty the Pot of Luck.....!!

Cycling is useless for running and vice versa.Originally posted by dnewguy View PostHello everyone

Thanks for tagging, I just spoke to dnewguy. He told me about the plans for the half marathon. I gave him some suggestions to begin his training.
Running is still a part of my training schedule along with other stuff. Here's my recent progress I posted on social media.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Are you still running competitively? I remember the time you had participated in a run at the BIC. You won that if i remember correctlyOriginally posted by R-series View PostThanks for tagging, I just spoke to @dnewguy. He told me about the plans for the half marathon. No, not anymore. Yes, I ran at BIC twice and won both timesOriginally posted by The Monk View PostAre you still running competitively? I remember the time you had participated in a run at the BIC. You won that if i remember correctly
. But paying around 500-1000Rs, even more at times doesn't make sense to me anymore. So, now I do my own timed runs as and when I want, as part of my regular training.
I enjoy setting the time, location and company on my own now for running
Yes, each run is of 5km and the splits are times for each km. That is just my progress I shared when I mentioned I still run, otherwise you may completely ignore that.Originally posted by dnewguy View Posthey r-series,
