its just a misconception brother. According to my experience any dog could be developed into a ferocious animal, it just depends how you handle them. My rott has a relaxed temperament and is playful with other dogs and children. But it doesn't take more than a few seconds for him to completely transform into one of those rotts you've heard about BUT ONLY AT MY COMMAND. He wouldn't even let any stranger enter the house, TILL WE ALLOW and then cuddles up with them as well.Originally posted by nicky_cool_dude_2004 View PostI've heard rotts are hot tempered. Is it true.. Hows his temperament.?

my darling sherry
here are the pics of my darling sherry
She is the darling of the house pampered by me a lot, in fact my wife says i spoiled her, to which i reply her its good to get a little bit spoiled.
She waits for me from the time i leave for my work and the moment i enter she is like all over me.
She listens to what i say and if done anything wrong apologises too but i ignore it
This pics were taken at her first birthday and my recent trip to kashid.
many more to come

hey shrinath
your girl is really amazing...
i know everybody likes to pamper their dogs but i want to suggest something. Please never give chocolate to your dog in any form(cakes, sweets etc.), it is poisonous in some cases.
plz go through this link for further info

Nice.. I was to buy a rotti 1st but then i settled on a boxer.. but i trained my buddy to do things at my command. One command and hes up barking on the stranger in front.. another command from any member of my family and hes down sitting and cuddling that person..Originally posted by vinish.nair View Postits just a misconception brother. A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

My lab pup is now approx 2 months old. Currently he is in the phase of biting any and everything. Its fun, but does get painful at times. From your experience, do share how you went about addressing this? Also ideas on training are solicited.

Well i guess every pup goes through this stage of biting everything and anything. The simple remedy for this, Chew sticks. Available at any pet shop for rs50-100 depending of brands. Believe me, really helps. And to train and not to train is upto you. I trained my boxer myself it was fun doing it and really listens only to me. But then it again comes down to how much time you can give to him. And for a 2months old pup, its too early to train. 6 months is the minimum age for training.Originally posted by scarecrow View PostGuys
