Also check out Mt.Fuji, natural hot water springs etc.

Have fun in Japan! Take a lot of pictures... It is an incredible place - if you can, ask them whether you can break your journey for a couple of days in Tokyo (on way or return to the Shizuoka Yamaha factory), it is worth it even if you have to spend a bit of your own money. If you happen to stop in Tokyo, make a visit to the Japanese 'Karol Bagh' near the Ueno station - tons of accessories/gear to spruce up your R15 and second hand bike prices which will leave you speechless!

              Best wishes and safe travels!

And some Japanese lessons to get you started:

              Konnichi-wa: Hello (only during day/afternoon)
              Konbanwa: Good evening
              Ohayo-gozaimasu: Good morning
              Arigato-gozaimasu: Thank you
              Doitashimashite: You're welcome
              Jikan: time
              Mizu: Water
Thanks for the suggestions dear, will put the detailed plans once everything is finalised.

Congrats Amit Bikerboy. This is indeed an achievement.

Hope you have a great trip to Japan. It is a great country with the mix of an Ultra Modern and Super Developped Lifestyle and place set in a very Traditional ambience. Really interesting place.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
