i have been for local g2g but prob is they r one day from morning to evening so no probs , but going far away is a prob, there is another problem most of the trips like simla , timing r so that i cant come still i am in search of a g2g where i have time then ask my parents to give me a chance to do things my way . and

and not telling them and going ,will lead to key of my bike off my grip and my self out of the house
    Sumeet,

    [off topic rant]
It's NOT about biking. This typically pertains to the control patterns of your parents. If you can normally assert yourself for important issues with your parents, then this should be a cakewalk.

If you're normally the obedient kid, then getting permission would need work. Lots of it.
    [/off topic rant]

Personally, I'd say that take your family members into confidence, one by one. Bro, sis, mom then dad

Agree fully! Some parents have blinkers welded onto them. Feel that whatever they cannot do/are scared doing, baby should not do. Know one guy whose dad has stopped him from buying a decent bike because he fels that child is not responsible enough. "Child", by the way is a merchant navy first officer.

Suggestion: Take your friends along, and have them promise to take care of you. This will make them feel better. Confronting them or bull******** them may backfire in the long run especially when they appear to have already locked their minds and thrown away the key.

I guess dialogue is normally the best option... if you let them know that you wanna do something that you're passionate about, they shouldnt normally give much resistance..

Okay bro, if you don't want to lie to your parents then you can try this.

Take your dad or mom with you on a short ride and ride safely so that they can get confidence in your riding and understand that the highway is safe(if you ride safely). That's it and you are done!

Just put some fuel and go bob.If you want to ride, you will do it,its as simple as that.

Edit:just call home after sometime to make sure that your parents dont think youve run away or gone to kill yourself.
