  • Tummy refill...

I went through the entire off topic section and found nothing related to this topic.I'm not sure whether this thread will get approved but still, here it goes...Many of the members here must have gone on trips, long rides etc.I'd like everyone here to share the places which they feel, serves good food and the best dish available over there. The places can either be some roadside dhaba,a five star restaurant or a good place to eat in your cities for that matter.Across length and breadth of our country, countless number of eateries serving tasty food shouldn't go unnoticed IMO...Incase you dont know the name of the place, just let us know where exactly it is...I know this topic is totally odd but being a foodie myself,I'd like to know more.Pen down here and let the other bikers savour,if they happen to cross the stretch while on tours and stuff...

Very good off-topic, I must say, although I remember there was a similar thread on xBhp, prior to the server crash.

        Nice topic

I will start off with the one to avoid-> Agarwal's on NH4. God you won't feel hungry for the entire day after eating from there. Too much soda.

In Hassan Suvarna Regency used to be good budget place. Not sure how it is now though. This on NH47.

In Puttur (S.K one) Hotel Hariprasad vegetable dosa is nice Forget the ambience though.

Can't remember most names Will try and update as and when I remember.

        In Bengaluru:-
        • Janata, Malleshwara 8th Cross, Kharabath
        • Udupi Krishna Bhavan, Balepet, Sagu Masale Dose
        • Ramakrishna, SC Road, Masala Dosa (they roast it right)
        • Tamara, Race Course Road, South Indian snacks
        • Ballal Residency, Residency Road, South Indian meals-tolerable
These are not the places you might want to visit with your wife/GF or your first date. Ambience be damned

        In Hyderabad:-
        • Ohri's Veg Kitchen, RajBhavan Road
        • Chutneys, Banjara Hills-> South Indian thali is
        In Pune:-
Radhika, Aundh-> Tawa Pulav used to be favourite during my student days Lousy waiters though. Don't know how its now.

Horn OK Please, FC Road-> 'North Indian' stuff used to be good.

There was a sweet stores near Sasken in Aundh, can't remember the name. Deepak's?? Moong Dal ka halwa was super & too damn filling.

                      sarafa-indore

if u are ever in indore friends... do not ever ever ever miss sarafa. its not a single eatery but a whole street and every shop there is a milestone. the market is now a lot subdued still will feed u till 1 am. oh and it starts barely at 9:30pm
the legendary street in bang in the city centre and has seen indore turn from a village to a metro. its prehistoric. and fan-horde includes lata mangeshkar.
one myth that surrounds the place is that they never have any leftovers in the end. all the bhoot , djinns etc visit the eateries in human guise and keep stuffing till last loaf is finished. maybe the legend originated off the fact that by the end all the shops sell out completely.. everyday.... for past centuries.
take my word guys... its worthwhile to visit indore just for this place alone.

Yeah, one in 4th block. It's about 25kms from my place, so don't want to ride all the way if it isn't that good.

                            It's crowded even on weekdays?
