Its about how much your bum is lazy.. I took hardly 10 sec to get this link

I completely agree with aryan in this regard. Even for body also u can go for grey stuff . By default there is a one year warranty with any camera, trust me nothing happens to a sturdy brand like Nikon/Canon in one year.

If u are going to the grey market shop, take one expert friend with u, a single time thorough check of camera is enough.

Lenses and accessories u'll buy only after gaining some expertise in that field, so by then u can easily choose between defective/good product when buying from grey.

Proud owner of a 1000D here. Completely worth the 32k that I paid for it. (no idea about the grey market price though. Keep one thing in mind when you'll actually buy a camera, you're buying the brand (Nikon, Canon, etc), not just the camera.

D60 is also good, but difference is marginal to feel when compared to D40.

Its good not to get into never ending Nikon vs Canon comparison. I would say if decided stick to ur decision.. U'll never repent with Nikon.

Go for Uniross. I have it, and it is pretty darn good. I have the Uniross - 2500mAh.

You are looking for just a digital camera or a DSLR?

EOS 1000d is priced at 33000 rs with 18-55 kit lens with bill, there are number of shops in CP where Canon/Nikon can be procured.
