Earlier thought as to something like 10-12k but now I guess I will increase it to 15k and a little here and there, compromising in getting a lesser priced cellphone and also that the phone I liked is now down by some significant 2-3k less, . .

Why not Sony except the fact that it is with Xperia now, any others. . ?

Well.. the reason I dont even go near xperia is... the quality of the mobilr is getting worse from how the sony mobiles used to be.. the xperia sets dont last for more than 6 months.. in 6 months they start creating problems.. noticed it with almost 6 xperia mobiles.. hence i suggested not to go for it.. but again.. its your buy buddy.. get what you like..

Cameras-

1. See if you can source a Sony HX100V, maybe second hand..I can vouch for it without any second thoughts.

2. Canon IXUS 125- Havent used this but looks good by the specs..f-stop 2.7 is going to help a lot in low light pics (as you wanted)

3. Nikon L820 is good except for the fact that it has a) AA batteries b) ISO range is only upto 3200 c) No RAW d) No GPS e) Min shutter speed 4secs.

4. Last recommendation- Sony HX300V..if you can stretch your budget for this..pick it up eyes closed!

About the Xperia yes indeed again you are right, that's what the sony centre guy too said the same, it ain't that much better like early walkman series, compared to durability, he said my walkman is better than this xperia

Which camera should buy Nikon Coolpix S6500 or Sony Cybershot WX200

I need to buy a point-and-shoot camera and my budget is max Rs. 15000. I have shortlisted below models -

1. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX200 (18.2MP, 10x Optical Zoom)
2. Nikon COOLPIX S6500 (16MP, 12x Optical Zoom)
3. Samsung SMART CAMERA WB150F (16.4MP, 18x optical zoom)
4. Nikon COOLPIX S9400 (18.1MP, 18x Optical Zoom)

Finally, after reading some online reviews and comparison, I am getting confused

with Nikon COOLPIX S6500/9400 and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX200. They are good cameras (I hope

) and still can't decide, which one should buy.

Please share your advise and experiences..... and help me to decide one.
